【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestheSemi-CircularBending(SCB)testmethodtodeterminethetensilestrengthorfracturetoughnessofanasphaltmixturefortheassessmentofthepotentialforcrackpropagation.Theresultsofthetestcanbeusedtocalculate:?themaximumloadthatthematerialcontaininganotch(crack)canresistbeforefailure;?whenthepresenceofanotchiscritical.Itshouldbenotedthatthetestonlydescribesamethodtodeterminetheresistancetocrackpropagationofanasphaltmixture.Thecrackpropagationphasedescribesthesecondpartoffailuremechanismduringdynamicloading.Thefirstphase,whichisthecrackinitiationphase,ismainlycoveredbythefatiguetest(EN12697-24).
