【摘要】:Thistestmethoddescribesacomparativemeasurementmethodforbaseballsandsoftballsasdefinedbyastaticcompressiondisplacementtest.Thistestmethodisbasedonaslowrateforce-displacementmeasurement.Thisprocedureisforbaseballsandsoftballsmeetingstandardsestablishedbythesports'governingbodies.Note1-Sincethecompression-displacementofbaseballsandsoftballscaninfluencetheperformancecharacteristics,thistestprovidesasimplemethodtocompareandcategorizesuchballsbasedonforcelevelsinastandardizedcompression-displacementtest.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
