【摘要】:Knowledgeofthephosphoruscontent,andthusthephosphorus-containingadditives,inalubricatingoiloradditivecanbeusedtopredictperformancecharacteristics.Thistestmethodissuitableformostapplicationsrequiringthedeterminationofphosphorus.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationofphosphorusinunusedlubricatingoilsandlubricatingoiladditivesandtheirconcentrates.Thetestmethodsarenotrestrictedwithrespecttothetypeofphosphoruscompoundsthatmaybepresent-forexample,trivalentorpentavalentphosphoruscompounds,phosphines,phosphates,phosphonates,phosphorussulfides,andsoforth-sinceallarequantitativelyconvertedtoanaqueoussolutionoforthophosphateionbyoxidationofthesampleduringthecourseofanalysis.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
