【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsandtestmethodsformaterials,dimensionsandtolerances,pipestiffness,crushresistance,impactresistance,hydrostaticburstresistance,andsolventcementforpoly(vinylchloride)plasticdrain,waste,andventpipeandfittings.Aformofmarkingisalsoincluded.PlasticwhichdoesnotmeetthematerialrequirementsspecifiedinSection5isexcluded.InstallationproceduresaregivenintheAppendix.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotes,footnotes,andappendixeswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthespecification.1.4Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section7,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
