【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiestheminimumperformanceandconstructionrequirementsforvarioustypesofoverfillpreventiondeviceswhicharelimitedtostatictanksofshopfabricatedmanufacturebothmetallicandnonmetallic.Itcoversdevicesforundergroundtanksandalsoabovegroundtankswithamaximumheightof5m.Tocoverthedifferenttypesofoverfillpreventiondevices,twotypeshavebeendeveloped:—TypeA:Anoverfillpreventiondevicewheretheoperationdoesnotdependontheroadtankvehicleorsupplysystem;—TypeB:Anoverfillpreventiondevicewheretheoperationdependsontheroadtankvehicleorthesupplysystem.Thisstandardappliestooverfillpreventiondevicesforliquidpetroleumfuels,havingaflashpointuptobutnotexceeding100℃.Therequirementsapplytooverfillpreventiondevicessuitableforuseatambienttemperaturesintherangefrom-25℃to+60℃,andsubjecttonormaloperationalpressurevariations.Additionalmeasuresmayberequiredforuseattemperaturesoutsidethisrangeandarethesubjectofnegotiationbetweenthemanufactureranditsclient.
